Rechargeable batteries can be divided into two groups based on the electrolyte in the battery. The first group is acid batteries, where the electrodes are lead and the second group is lye batteries, where the electrodes are nickel, cadmium, iron or metal-hybrid.

We recycle many types of rechargeable batteries, e.g., lead, closed lead (gel and AMG), nickel-cadmium (NiCd), nickel-metal hybrid (NiMH), lithium-ion (Li-ion), lithium-polymer (LiPo).

The uses of the aforementioned rechargeable batteries can be things like: starter battery, local battery, portable battery or electric vehicle battery.
