Metal scrap

We take in small quantities for no charge and pay for larger batches.

All kinds of metal scrap is good for recycling. For example: old farming machines, sauna stoves, central heating boilers, sheet metal roofs, empty oil barrels, electric stoves, car parts, bicycles, empty paint cans, tins, frying pans, lids, caps, aluminium foil, aluminium trays etc.

Scrap vehicles

We have made a checklist of things to remember when You wish to scrap your vehicle:

• Bring an official ID document like a driver's license as well as the car's paperwork (vehicle license and registration). If the car is not registered under your name you should bring a deed of purchase or transfer.


• If you are not the last registered owner you need to bring a power of attorney from the owner. If you are not sure of the last owner, you can check ownership information from Finnish Vehicle Administration AKE with the car's vehicle identification number. The vehicle identification number can be found here. here for example. If you have any questions, please contact us. Even if we don't know the answer, we will find it for you.


• Find the car's paperwork (license and registration). If the car is not registered under your name you should find the deed of purchase or transfer.


• When you bring in the car we will check your ID and the car's paperwork. We also make sure that the vehicle identification number matches the one in the paperwork.


• You will receive the official certificate of destruction right away, or if you used our pick-up service you'll receive the certificate by mail.
• You don't need to take the license plates to a car inspection station.

Electrical and electronic scrap

The following things are good to remember when bringing in EE-scrap:

• Remove the dust bags from vacuum cleaners.


• Remove bulbs and tubes from lighting fixtures.


• You don't need to remove batteries.


• Bring in all devices without packing materials. Fluorescent tubes and lamps in packaging are chargeable items.


• You don't need to remove ink or toner cartridges from printers and typewriters.

Wooden containers

You can bring in all wooden containers to us free of charge. Please remove all extra materials like packing plastics.

Rechargeable batteries

We take in rechargeable batteries. Remember to be careful when handling them!

Tires

You may bring tires with or without rims to us for no charge.
